A native Floridian, I came to Vero Beach after finishing medical school, internship and my Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine. I was trained at Shands Teaching Hospital and the VA hospital in Gainesville to diagnose and treat highly complex medical problems in the hospital. I was accepted for a fellowship in Pulmonary and critical care medicine at Harbor General-_UCLA medical center in Torrance, California but decided to focus on the overall patient's condition instead of one subspecialty. I came to Vero by chance when a Cardiologist I knew from My training asked me to join his office. I initially took call with Vero's best Cardiologists and learned preventive care to keep my patients healthy longer and out of the hospital. I subsequently became board certified In Geriatric Medicine in 2004 as I realized the predominance of my patients were elderly. My practice now specializes in preventive, internal, and geriatric medicine through a concierge model. I have full hospital privileges at Cleveland Clinic Indian River and follow my hospitalized patients there to give full continuity of care. I offer 24/7 care with cell phone and texting , and email.
